Why Local Business Schema?
Setting up Local Business Schema enables search engines like Google to know what your websites are all about. The more information you add that Google can understand, the more accurate the results that potential visitors will receive.
With this latest improvement, you’ll be able to add Additional Schema fields directly related to your business type. For all business types, you’ll be able to add price range, either in symbols or actual amounts. In addition, for specific business types, you’ll be prompted to add other information that users tend to seek. For example,
- For restaurants, you’ll be prompted to add information about menus, reservations, types of cuisine, and more.
- For hotels, you’ll be prompted to add information about the types of amenities it offers, whether it accepts pets, and more.
Setting up Local Business Schema is Easy
To set up Local Business Schema, go to the site Content Library, click Business Info, and fill in the required information. Once you choose the Business Type, the Additional Schema fields related to that business type will be displayed at the bottom of the screen.
